Poetry Groups

The Orenaug Poetry Group (OPG) is a chapter of the Connecticut Poetry Society. Ours is a welcoming group that supports and encourages the writing of each member. Meetings begin with an opening poem and/or meditation and a writing prompt exercise. Participants can then share work, opting to seek feedback or to simply read. Poetry Workshop Feedback Sheet

The OPG covers the towns of Woodbury, Watertown, Southbury, Roxbury, and Bethlehem, all places you can see from the top of Woodbury's Orenaug Mountain.
