Tough Kids

Orenaug Mountain Publishing invites you to contribute a poem, work of short prose (500 words, maximum), or work of visual art to our next anthology, which will be titled Tough Kids.

What does it mean to be tough? In what ways can kids be tough? How do we honor that toughness? (Check out this definition of tough to get your creative juices flowing.)

Please honor the following parameters when submitting your work. We make every effort to include the work of every contributor so long as the work is a genuine, relevant response to the prompt, is created without artificial intelligence, is accessible to the general reader, and is of high quality. Our deadline for this collection will be October 31, 2025.
